Medialoc, together with the Nederlands Filmtheater Overleg (NFO), has recently connected a large number of film theatres to our MediaContainer. Thus, Concordia, De Fabriek, De Lieve Vrouw, Eye, Filmhuis Den Haag, Forum Groningen, Hoogt on Tour, Ketelhuis, LantarenVenster, LUX, Mimik, Rialto, Schuur and the Verkadefabriek now have their own virtual screen – within their own websites and connected to their own ticketing parties.

The MediaContainer offers a range of features to make organising online screenings simple and flexible. Theatres can now create shows that combine different forms of video content, including Video-on-Demand, livestreaming, meetings, questionbars and chat. This connection therefore creates new opportunities in online and hybrid screenings for the theatres.

With the completion of the implementation, the MediaContainer now also has a link to a large number of ticketing parties in the Netherlands. As this link only needs to be set up once, it makes the integration of subsequent parties much easier.

Together with the various theatres, Medialoc will examine for which programmes and which programme forms the virtual screen can best be used.
